29 nights in Egypt

Tomorrow we leave Egypt and fly back to Luxembourg. It is bittersweet. We enjoy spending time here with family and love seeing all the cousins play together, but there is just something about home that pulls at your heartstrings.

The boys have adjusted beautifully. They usually share a room and sleep in a bunk bed. At our Airbnb we made sure there was second bedroom with two separate beds so they could continue to share a room. Our oldest asked when we were going home because he misses his toys and his dinosaur tent. It will be nice to get back into our routine once school starts again.

Our next blog post will be a breakdown showing how much this trip cost. Between the flights, Airbnb, and daily expenses, I’m hoping we were able to stay within budget. Thankfully we do not need to rent a car when we visit and just take cabs or walk everywhere.

We will miss the food (koshary, hawawshi, feteer) and the warm weather. But we will miss our loved ones the most until we meet again.
